A Cloud in the Sky

The blue pegasus lay, concealed, behind a cloud as she watched the weather ponies work around her. While Cloudsdale was her favorite place, work demanded that she stay in Canterlot for weeks at a time. It was her first time back to her real home in a year, and she was extremely happy to be back. 

She had a coltfriend, but friends were fleeting, and it was one thing she missed about Canterlot... At least there, she knew ponies.

Alina came to Cloudsdale for work,she loved what her father did so she comes to Cloudsdale every once in a while. As she was shaping the clouds she saw saw a blue pony lying on a cloud.Alina approached her saying "Could you move? I need to shape that cloud into place,And... You're not from here are you?" She asked flying in the sky

Cloud frowned at the pony. How rude.

"No, I'm not," she responded coolly. "I'm from Canterlot. And I assume you're from here."

She got up anyways, being the nice pony she was, and she settled her hooves on the city platform, which also happened to be made of cloud. How nice. Clouds, clouds, and clouds...

She sighed and flapped her wings, shaping the cloud for the pony. It was in her innocent nature to do so. She had the experience and the delicacy, which was how she had learned to dance: among the clouds.

Alina Laughed "Im from Canterlot too i just work here when i dont have to walk the runway, im Alina whats your name?"

"My name is Cloud Dancer," she introduced. "It's... nice to meet somepony from Canterlot."

Actually, it wasn't. Cloud prayed with all her heart and soul that Alina did not know who she was. She hated when she was followed by fans, especially since the new ad for the Royal Canterlot Ballet just went up with her face plastered all over Canterlot.

"Well, I'll leave you to your work. Enjoy the rest of your day," she said, turning away.

Alina chukled not noticably "You are that ballerina. Aren't you?"mshe put off her work clothes "im on a break anyways,I am not a fan."



Alina had the same expressions fans looking bragging and hanging around you not nice,She was in that expression for a long time but not long enough to stilll be in it.


"Wanna hangout a little? i got time"

Cloud winced as Alina said, "You're that ballerina, aren't you?"

"Yes, I am."

She brightened up as she said, "I'm not a fan." Some would take it as an offense, but Cloud was glad. It meant she wasn't being followed by the paps.

"Sure. I'm here on vacation, and it's always nice to make friends."

Alina looked around "It's nice to be back here.... Isn't it? away from fame and the paparazzi hehe''
she chukles as she says that. "So how are things with the ballerina thing?" she asks.

Cloud frowned. This mare was being awfully straightforward... and quite odd.

"Fine, I guess. Nothing out of the usual. Sometimes I need a break, though."

She stood up and looked around.

"I haven't been up here in a very long time. I better go check in at the weather factory. Time to return to the job, even if it's for a little while."
