Fresh Start

Silver winced a moment as he saw Bounty fly back into the water. Silver shook his head at the ponies. This was probably going to be a bad fight.

"Miss Cut, i think its time you saw to getting these ponies together and working on moving. I'll babysit these two." He said before cracking his neck a bit. Unless it got real ugly, Silver would stay out of it until they came to their senses.

Blazer slowly circled Bounty, his head close to the knife sheath that hung from his neck.

Rough Cut nodded quickly and quickly trotted over to the other ponies to try and disperse the crowd by suggesting they walk back over the river to pick up their scattered supplies and get back on track, however she was largely ignored.

He suddenly yells out with dead serious almost military sound tone. "MISS.CUTS! PeRmission to put this colt in his place and capture to await his punishment for attacking a fellow pony. Put out the Bounty for his arrest and I will kindly oblige."

Bounty wasn't gonna let his colt have the jolly he wanted without paying up what respect he may hold left in him. Bounty was ready to give him a beating of his life right here and now. Bounty had hoped he wouldn't need to fight anymore, but it seems trouble comes right up and buck him right in the face. He was gonna make a example out of you. Bounty doesn't like to lose nothing to nopony. His pride was a shattered mess even before that kick. Now it was more broken then before and he intended to make your's so broken they think his looks good again by comparison.

Now Silver was starting to get angry. This was ridiculous. They couldn't afford to sit here and play around with who is in charge of what and standing up for pride.

Having heard Bounty show his colors told him that he had indeed kept some of his bounty hunter feelings and habits. In his book that marked him down a point. Silver's line of work would only get him into trouble with him. It was time to step things up.

"Everypony here pack up!" Silver shouted, breaking his dead silence that emanated from him earlier. He glared at the circle of ponies that formed up to watch, even pacing toward a few to get them to back up and go about getting their stuff. He glanced Miss Cut's way, hoping that she realized it best to just stay out of all of this mess.

Silver growled to himself before finally walked out between both Blazer and Bounty, giving them both a fair looking at before speaking. "You two wanna fight? That's fine." He dug his hooves into the ground. "....But you two ponies will settle it when we make camp. Otherwise..." He stomped his spurred hooves, making them ring, and patted his sword with his wing. "...I'm your huckleberry."

Trail Blazer backed off. He had made his point, whether it even got into Bounty's thick skull. He wasn't going to tolerate him bullying anypony he was around, especially not a mare. Just like a lawpony, thinking themselves to be above basic etiquette and decency. "I think you've got some foals to scare o'er yonder. Go on now, rent-a-guard."

Rough Cut stood bewildered at it all. She still didn't have a firm understanding of what exactly was going on around her, but she was quick to join the rest of the herd to gather back the wagons and make their way back across the river to pick up scattered planks of wood, preserved food, and personal effects.

Bounty wondered how ponies got to be so thick skulled? Words don't seem to hold nothing to anyone no more out here then? Bounty would have to bust this colt's head in just to speak to a Miss.Cuts? So be it. He now had a reason to beat this damn colt down. He looked at the colt as he said he insult and Bounty raised him in his wager.

"I got somepony scared that's for certain. At least I would ever throw a sucker buck like a coward." With that he turned and torn his clothes off, which were soaked to see he had a few small scars on his side. He crushes the clothes together with magic to to ring out the water as he walked. He was gonna teach him him a lesson of when to pick one's battles and who not to pick them with. 'Wanted alive, but damaged if need be. Trail.' He set himself to his old ways once more to show this colt and he hoped that he would show them he wasn't one you didn't reason with. His soft words didn't work and when that happens it is high time to get the big stick.

Silver rolled his eyes as the two threw their pebbles of insults at each other. He watched and waited for the two to get some distance before finally moving from his place between them. He went to seek out Miss Cut.

He hoped he could catch her before they went across the water. He was close enough as it was, and a fight near it might have been too risky for him. Whether he found her on this side or he had to fly up high over the water to find her, he would get in a few words with her.

"Miss Cut? I just thought i might remind you. I'm still open to play the role of 'protector' for this outfit of yours....For a fee. We wouldn't want any of what happen there directed on you one day now would we?" Silver hoped that maybe with the events still fresh on her that she might feel the need to pay a pony to make things 'safer'.

Trail Blazer was sure he'd have to remove this blowhard one way, or another. So long as he didn't get in close, he'd be dead before his horn could glow.

Rough Cut still had problems figuring out what just happened... Bounty marched toward her looking angry, Trail Blazer stopped him and sent him into the river... She couldn't have ponies fighting ponies, but she couldn't very well stop it herself. Blazer'd been so good to her. He went out and somehow got the bits so she could balance the books and get new supplies and now he was keeping angry stallions away from her... But what was he mad about in the first place? She didn't cause the stampede and it was more than just her froze up in fright. She was cut off from her thoughts when Silver came up to her and she hung her head at his words. "Mr. Silver, I'm sorry if you didn't hear me the first time but... I don't have any money."

Bounty was steeling himself as he walked pass a few ponies, saying excuse me to the them as they let him through. He was going do as he was asked and wait for them to make camp then either they were going to get off his back and he get a talk with Miss.Cuts or he was going to get back at that colt. He was made a plain fool in front of everypony by them. Normally Bounty settled things on scene or he let Karma sort his kind out. He rubbed his chest where the colt ha landed his hoofs. The prints were stamped into his chest and he didn't feel the normal weight of his clothes.

Everyone saw his scars when he took off his clothes. They think him somepony with a rough past, not to say it isn't true he jut didn't want ponies trying to ge to know him out of pity or they got some righteously thought to help poor Bounty. He was going to mind his P's and Q's and wait to see how these ponies go about. If that pony had any sense he would stand down. No pony had heard they were gonna fight at camp. He could walk away with a win if he decided not to fight.

He wonders sometimes if things are worth the trouble anymore as he walked by a cart, already having a few ponies try to walk next to him and start up a chat about what happened. "I'd like not to talk about." Was all he said to him.

Silver was once again stuck. He really wanted to get his hoof in the door here. He had guesses most ponies here were going to be as self reliant as possible from the get go when this settlement started. Maybe asking for bits so early on was a little too much. Sighing, Silver rolled his eyes.

"...How about favors then? IOUs?....Listen Miss, i didn't exactly sign up with a job in mind. I'll pat your back if you can pat mine...sometime in the near future..." He really hoped that he could at least get something out of her. Either that or he will have to go about asking the locals about some kind of job or thing he could do. If he was lucky they would need another run of supplies from back home and use him as an escort. Canterlot probably wouldn't mind paying a small fee for that.

This pony just wouldn't back away... um... "Ummm... What would you want..?" Please don't say sex, please don't say sex...

Bounty was trying to get this filly to leave him alone. She thought he was some 'badcolt who needed to be fixed up' and was trying to make him open up. He wasn't gonna in fact not cause he wasn't one to tell things in honesty, but because he knew opening up would make her think he was interested in what she was selling. Pity friendship.

"Look I'm in a sour mood, can we talk later or something?" It seem to work as he ears dropped and she trotted off. Bounty breathed out a sigh as he looked across the way to see Sliver speaking ti Miss.Cuts. He lifts his front legs up with a upset look. "Oh great, he gets to talk to her for free and I got to fight somepony! How is that fair?" He decided to just brew as he walked to catch up with the ponies who were ready to start moving out.

Silver facehoofed. Rough Cut really didn't chime in on things. "...Anything you may think is reasonable, or maybe some property rights. Things like that?" He let out a sigh. While he would not likely plan to make a permanent home, he could always sell the rights away for some coin later.

"Well... What would be reasonable to you...? You're the um... sexpert." Her entire body turned bright red at what she had just said. She wished a meteor would just crash into her andd everypony else so nopony would ever know it.

The one pegasus had flew back to the gathering of trotting ponies to say she found a spot over yonder and to follow her. Bounty breathed in deep as he followed with the rest them. He cracked his neck and rolled his shoulder blades. Then went into a light trot to get to the front of the crowds. e was tried of them kicking up dirt on him.

Silver managed to withhold his surprise. He knew that some of the odd ball mares had some rather perverse interests sometimes, but he didn't have Rough Cut figured as one.

"...Well, there is also that if are willing to pay like that. I won't say nothing about it though I hope there are places of privacy to find...." He let his eyes look around him more, now being a lot more mindful of who may be listening in. Was this mare serious?

She quickly shook her head "NO NO NO NO! I was hoping you weren't going to ask me of it, I kept repeating it in my head cause... I thought you were going to ask but I didn't want you to ask and..." She bowed her head. "Oh Celestia..."

Bounty hadn't remembered when he had started running, but he was a far ahead of the others as he ran. Keeping up with the flying pony by jumping over stumps and bobbing, also a few weaves. He was clearing his head now a bit. twentieth rule of fighting is don't get mad or your gonna make mistakes. He finall make it to the spot and sat down to rest. Waiting for the others to come. He looked around for a good shady spot to call for when he slept tonight.

Silver let out a hearty chuckle and proceeded to move along with the others to where the campsite was found. He assumed Rough Cut would follow.

"I would never ask, but you appeared to offer. But my offer still stands. I help you, you help me. Think on it if you want, but once we set up town, I'm going to want to get busy."

She plodded along behind him, still thoroughly embarrassed. "I don't know what I can offer you then... Land I guess? But you said you're going to leave..." She raise her head to see where they were going. This didn't appear to be good. "Are they setting up tents..? Why would they set up tents so close to where those.... things came from? Shouldn't we move a bit further away...?"

Bounty watched as the others started setting up tents and he set his belongings over in a really nice sleeping spot he found and started setting up his tent. Somepony had said dinner would be made at 8:00PM sharp. He did it the old fashion way and used his hoofs and mouth to pull the poles through the holes. He didn't want to waste his strength on something like this and focusing on pulling them through would give him a headache.

After all that business he went to find Trail Blazer. Hopefully to convince him to let him talk to her, either that or he gonna have to lay him out. He wasn't in the mood for a squabble. He also now assumed squabbles with Trail lead to sucker bucks into rivers. Expect if he did it again there wouldn't be a rover to catch him. Instead it would be a nice rock or the hard ground.

"Land will suffice. It can be sold for bits when needed. And you the one in charge. You tell them where to put up camp." He trotted along, not sure what else to say to her now, but not really having a reason to part company with her just yet.

Trail Blazer was resting in the cart he'd been pulling. With Bounty as mad as he was, there was not telling what he would do. He was plenty sore after getting bucked in the river. Blazer had to be prepared for anything that could happen, and you never know what could happen if you fought a unicorn. Should Bounty decide to seek him out, he kept a little something just at hoof's reach under a handkerchief just in case. He regarded the unicorn carefully as he walked up to him. "Well what are you here for?"

Rough Cut shook her head. "But.. they're already setting up... I'd hate to ask them to load everything back up again and walk more...."

Bounty looked at you, biting the bottom part of his lip as he looked at the ground for moment. He walked forward a bit and then decided to step back. He wasn't as angry as he was before, but he was ripe to be so again if any of those trigger words got thrown out.

He turns to look at you, fully controlled as he tried to sound polite. "I'm here to ask I if walk over there.,," He points to Miss.Cuts and SilverSpur. "..again to try and have a talk with Miss.Cuts if your gonna stop me."

Silver didn't realize she was this this terrible at this kind of thing. She would need to pony up before anything to get stuff done around here.

"I'm not going to do it for you. That's your problem. You want them to move, you tell em. I think ill sleep on a cloud or something away from the water though if that's where they will be..." He prefered that his behavior near the water would be forgotten.
