So, today was Wild Card's vacation from work. Even though he was self-employed. He walked through the streets of Canterlot. At night, no less. The streetlights were glowing bright, setting up a wondrous atmosphere. He was almost overwhelmed by all the buildings and ponies and flair of the city. His jaw dropped and his eyes were wide. It was as if he was stuck in the middle of the road.

Aster nervously trotted through the streets. He hated night-duty, oh how he hated it! It was dark, creepy, and the perfect time for a thief or ruffian to jump out from behind him. Terrifying. Absolutely terrifying. He stopped, seeing a silhoutte of somepony or... something, it's eyes wide and almost having a glowing like affect, perhaps because of the streetlights. he let out a shriek of terror.

" MOOOONSTEEER!" he screamed, galloping as fast as he could away from the "monster." Screaming, he rammed into a small building, and fell with a thud to the ground.

" PLEASE DON'T EAT ME, I'M TOO YOUNG TO-" the small guard rammed into a small building, then fell with a sickening thud to the ground, and everything went black.

Wild Card heard screaming, but was still relatively still for a few moments. Eventually he reacted and trotted over to where he heard screaming. All he saw was a crack in the wall and a guard knocked unconscious. He sprinted over and started rubbing and kissing the wall, trying to make it feel better.

After a minute of caring to the wall, he looked at the stallion on the floor. He didn't know what to do, so he kicked him in the sides a few times hoping it would wake him up

Aster felt something kicking him, and jolted awake, then automatically opened his mouth for another high pitched scream, then his eyes settled on another stallion.

" I...." after staring at the pony awkwardly, he gave his armor a look, then winced. His armor had a dent in it. The captain of the guard wouldn't be pleased... at least it had saved him from getting really hurt.

" H-hello....?" he said cautiously, hoping whoever this pony was wasn't a lunatic. You never knew who you would encounter in Canterlot during night. He should have brought a spear. Oh, that's right. I'm not allowed to handle them anymore. This had involved an unforunuate accident involving a rapid gang of woodland animals and a forest ranger.
