New Family~

Spell Tome trotted through the marketplace with her new sister, Cherry Blossom. While they technically weren't related, Cherry's father recently adopted her after seeing her alone in the Town Square and saying she ran away from her home. Once she met Cherry, she was excited, even though she seemed to show minimal emotion. Hopefully they can get along. Spell is typically rather quiet and often has her dark moments.

They walked through the market looking for some food that Cherry can make for dinner tonight. Spell's tummy rumbled viciously as they walked past all the yummy food. She hated this part of the market, just for the fact that there were so many great things but so little money to use to by them.

Trotting through the marketplace along side was her sister, Spell Tome. Even though, this filly was an unicorn and not really related, Cherry's father adopted her after he find her in the streets from running away from home. As soon as Tome meet Cherry, she was excited on her sibling despite the lack of emotions. Hopefully, they will get along.

Ever since, she lived here - the lack of money was running for the trip from Neighpon to Ponyville. With the restaurant back in the village, she could maybe bring the place here. That idea made her halt the movement and ponder to this idea.

Spell Tome trotted a good 10 feet before she noticed her new sister wasn't by her side anymore. She had stopped for some reason. She looked ahead but only saw a mess of ponies and market stands. She went back to Cherry and looked up slightly.

"What are you thinking about, sister?"

Cherry's ear flicks slight from the voice but didn't move until she gazed down at the filly with a demeanor expression which wasn't intend on her but only others that sees her as 'creepy or scary'. Placing her hoof on Spell's head making the young one turn to stare at the food stalls then building and moves her hoof off. 

"...We courd have a smarr eating shop here rike the restaurant back home."

Spell Tome was a little nervous about the eating shop idea. She wasn't very talented in making food herself. She often lived off of what other ponies gave her. Hopefully her new sister could teach her a little bit.

"I haven't really made food before... You might have to teach me."

Adjusting the small rectangle glasses slightly on her face only to shake her head declining the offer, gently patting Spell's head. It'll be better if the filly started on her own on making food by watching until a test will be announced. 


"Rearning and watching is simpre than me teaching you rike that. The more you watch, the higher the task wirr be easy for you. I need to see if you're on my level of cuisine. They will be a test on this so I got a book."  

Opening the flap of the bag and takes a Neighpon Cuisine Book out and holds it with her wing for Spell.

Spell Tome took the book from Cherry's wing and was a little frightened by it. The incentive for her to do this was mostly the fact that Cherry might have wanted to open up a Neighponese place, like the one she always talked about from her home. She didn't want to ruin her dreams, so she put the book in her bag.

"I'll get started once we get home. Now, what should we get to eat? Also, will I have to cook it?"

She snickered a bit, as that was intended to be a joke, but she was really scared if she said yes. She liked it when her family didn't go hungry or ate charred magma

The mare just stares with a heavy eye-lock at the... joke that was produced which she wasn't too familiar with the humor here so that'll take some time to learn for herself. 

"Yes. You wirr. I'rr be the start of your training and you'rr be make it ten times a day."". . .-Just kidding.. You'rr be standing on the sidelines watching me how to prepared it off and on the table."

Cherry answered back before lightly patting Spell again on the head, trotting past the filly as she walks up to some stalls getting some western ingredients for the meal they will be having for dinner.

Spell felt a nice comfort with the head patting. It was a combination of relief of not being having to cook immediately and the softness of her hoof touching her head. She smiled and followed Cherry to the stand to buy the dinner for tonight. She was growing anxious about the fact she'll need to be preparing food. It seems very difficult. She hoped she was just stressing for no reason and it was actually fairly simple.

"Is it hard to make Neighponese food? What should I make first?"

After taking the bag of ginger and a bottle of light coconut milk and puts it into the bag and pays the stallion clerk, Cherry takes off her hat which under it has the rest of the ingredients balancing on-top of her head, not moving from her body movement and stayed still while she places the bottle in an empty spot then places her head back on. 

"Once you know the ingredients... making Neighponese food wirr be simpre for you. But... on the easy side, I'rr make some common foods Ponyville foods with the side of the curture." 

Spell started fidgeting, wanting to get home. Soon. The other ponies were starting to make her uncomfortable, and the added stress of learning how to cook was getting to her too.

"Is that all we need?"

The pegasus looks down at Spell for a while then placed her hoof onto her head and pets through her mane then pulls away to start walking away from the stalls. 

".....Getting uncomfortably? From the crowds?"
