| The Day's of End
In the end, It was she that held the sun That brought our end.
In the end, she who held the moon was gone Banished to her end.
In the end, It was quick, taking days bring our world to an end.
In the end, Nature again took hold the goddesses having met there end.
In the end, they took to the sea Life as they knew it at an end.
In the beginning they prayed for it to end.

| The sun blazes above you, burning your hide, Fleeing to the water you pray for its protection against the raging sun. But the Sun that is burning and scaring the land that was once your home has also heated the water to an unbearable heat. You go deeper, searching for a trace of cool.
Unaware that you are picking up trace remains of the dead goddesses magic as you go. There love for their people warps your body, as you flee to the safety and cool of the deep, where the deadly rays from the sun are nothing but shifts of light, Cutting threw the dark.
Congratulations, you have survived the end of the world by evolving into a Merpony. Go, form a community, make love and enjoy the end of the world for all it is worth. Because its all you have left.

| Icarus floated wearily Across his new Ocean home, Sighing softly. He looked up at the sun, Looking so soft and kind through the water, and gave a wistful smile. His dream of flying was a complete and utter, and absolutely impossible, fantasy. Not that it wasn't nice living down here, but... with his eyes closed, he could still feel the grass on non-existing hooves, hear the chirps of birds, Feel the gust of wind...
He couldn't feel that he was crying, but he knew he probably was.

| Drifting on the waves he felt he had slept for years. But that couldn't be. His Hooves draged in the waves. No. that wasn't right. They were fins now. Blue fins with a pearly sheen, like his mane once was. His body no-longer furred but rubbery like a dolphins. It had kept the dark blue gray of his coat from before.
Opening his eye's Pearl Diver took in the world around him. The reef that was his new home, as the world above burned. Diver was sad, and lonely.
By his count, it had been nearly two months since the end.

| %@# used to be a young professor in a university on an island. As the other ponies panicked and society fell to ruin, he took it upon himself to try and preserve as many texts as possible. However all was for naught. Nowhere on the surface was safe, not even a climate controlled basement run on a magical generator. The temperature in the makeshift depository still reached over 90F (32C). @#$# was determined to sit out the solar storm for as long as possible, however the sun dried everything its rays touched. All it took was a single spark to set all the buildings on the island ablaze. In a panic, he strapped as many books as he could carry to his body and ran out of his burning home. His last memory of the surface world was the sun searing his back with his nostrils full of smoke. Some time later he awoke to find himself in the ocean with a changed body. The salt water did not sting his burns for they were gone. However the few books still on his body were soaked. A page couldn't be turned without the paper coming apart. Now he just drifted in the ocean without much will to live, lamenting the end of the world and all of the precious knowledge that was lost. | |

| [ Wait a minute... OBJECTION! Mriia Also posted before me!]
[... Meh. Might as well.]
Icarus drifted. There wasn't much to do under the sea, in their new home. No books made it, so reading was out of the option. No one felt much like playing, either. So... Drifting aimlessly seemed to be the way to go.
Some ponies started whispering that, Maybe it wasn't a blessing they survived. Maybe, in all actuality, It was a Curse, for not taking better care of their princess.
