Jet's Hope (1x1)

Jetstream sniffled softly as the school bell rang, signifying the end of class and he sat on the steps outside the schoolhouse, waiting for Tenebris to come and get him.

Tenebris looked at the clock..
"Sweet Celestia! School has already ended .. I need to get him"
"Mind if I go with you?" Vengeance asked
"Sure! Now hurry up! He's probably waiting for me"
She said as they went out of the door, walking to the school
Tenebris saw Jetstream sitting on the stairs and walked towards him
"Sweetie!" she called

Jetstream looked up and ran over to Tenebris, crying. "Mommy!" He sniffled, hugging her tightly and whimpering. "There w-was this bully... And he...." he trailed off, crying.

Tenebris hugged him back, tightly and wiped the tears out of his face.
"A bully? Did you tell the teacher?" she said, taking his hoof and walking over to Vengeance

Jetstream nodded slowly, whimpering softly. "Yeah... I told her..." He said softly, then hid behind Tenebris' leg upon seeing Vengeance.

"Dont worry buddy, Im a friend of your mommy" he said, ruffling through his mane

Hey blinked, staring up at Vengeance. "A friend...?" He asked softly, with tiny smile when his mane was ruffled.

"Yes, he helped me when I was in trouble before I moved to Ponyville, Its been years since we last met.. I think we should move on, Its getting late"
"Can I maybe stay a while with you? I dont really have a home here" he asked
"Sure! I would really like to have someone around"
"Alright! Lets go! he said unfolding his wings
"Uh.. could we maybe walk the way home? Im not a really good flyer you know...hehe" she said, looking at her blank back
"Oh uhm.. sure I forgot" he giggled
Tenebris took Jetstream's hoof and they walked home

Jetstream nodded slowly and followed them, smiling faintly as he buzzed his little wings.

"Having problems to fly little buddy?" Vengeance said, looking at Jetstream

"Yeah... I don't know how to fly yet.." Jetstream said, looking back at his transparent wings, twitching them slightly.

"You dont know how to fly? I can teach you if you want"

Jetstream looked up quickly. "Really? You'll teach me?" he asked excitedly.

"Sure!" he said, ruffling his mane again

Jetstream smiled widely and did a little hop for joy. "Thank you!"

They arrived at the house, and Jet was ready for his first lesson
"Alright, first.. stretch your wings, then breathe in and out and try to lift yourself off the ground.. and dont forget to breathe up there, buddy"

Jet nodded and spread his small wings, taking a deep breath and buzzing his wings. He managed to get a few inches of air before flopping down to the ground with a soft thud. "Ow..."

Vengeance helped him up "Well, that was a good start.. keep trying"

Jetstream nodded and tried once more, his wings buzzing loudly before he got a little bit more air.
