A strange day at Aster's

(Time skip)

Aster woke up in her bed, her fluffy mane messed up with a serious case of bed head, she yawned and stretched, trying to brush the hair away from her eyes.

Stripes was still sleeping, he was cold and shivered a little

Aster went into the main room and lit the central fireplace, looking at Stripes sleeping on the couch.

Stripes didnt notice her entering, he was still sleeping in a curled up position on the couch, to keep himself warm

Blue Aster began to cook a soup over the fire, adding different herbs to the stockpot.

Stripes slowly woke up as he smelled the soup. He yawned and looked at Aster

Aster smiled at him. "I'm making breakfast, you like soup?" She asked.

Stripes got up and walked past her, giving her a small kiss on the cheek "Of course I like soup" he said

Aster blushed and poured the warm soup into two bowls, placing them on the table and sitting down.

Stripes took a seat and ate the soup "This is delicious" he said

Blue Aster smiled. "It's an old family recipe." She said as she took a sip.

Stripes smiled and looked at her. "Aster.. how long do you live here in the woods?"

"I've lived here for more than a year." Aster said.

"Dont you feel lonely in here?" he asked

"I'll admit it, I have felt lonely ever since I left my village up north." Aster said softly.

"Well, being lonely never feels good" Stripes said

Aster nodded slowly and sat beside him, leaning against him.

Stripes blushed and wrapped his wing over her shoulder

Blue Aster closed her eyes and huddled close to him, resting her head under his chin.

Stripes gave her a kiss on the forehead and also closed his eyes

Aster smiled and made a soft whinnying noise in bliss. "You're so kind..."

Stripes smiled and cuddled her tighter "Thank you.." he whispered

Aster nuzzled him and smiled. "You know... I've got an older brother...." She said, looking slightly upset upon mentioning him. "He probably won't like you...."

"Well.." he said "I think he wont be too angry about us"

"He's always been very protective of me ever since our parents died." Aster said. "He's part of the reason I ran away from the village."
