Chronicle of the Lost

Dreamscape sighed as she trotted back into her bedroom, and lit the candles scattered about the room. The city's power had gone out a month ago.
"Still nothing...no one...but, there has to be someone else out there right?...I don't want to be alone anymore..."

She shook her head before turning to her old radio, and began broad casting
'It's been about a month since everypony disappeared, and I still don't know what happened. Was it Discord? Sombra? All I know is that I'm going insane. I thought I could hear somepony talking while I was walking through the market, but no one was there. I can barely sleep at night, as nightmares plague my dreams. Next week I'll be done with preparations, and will be headed towards Canterlot and Ponyville. If anyone finds this message, please, please find me. I can't handle the loneliness anymore, it feels like the shadows are watching me...I have to go. If you hear this message before I leave the city, I'm holed up in the Starset nightclub. This is Dreamscape signing off.

Dreamscape sighed sadly, before broadcasting again

'I know I heard someone out there...if only they had come inside. I even found hoofprints, and they weren't mine, I only fly these days. Perhaps I should begin my journey to Ponyville sooner...but what if I'm not ready? I suppose it wouldn't matter, if I died then I wouldn't be alone. It's settled, I'll set out tomorrow. Maybe Ponyville won't be so empty. Well, you know the drill guys. If you hear this message before I leave the city, I'm holed up in the Starset nightclub. This is Dreamscape signing off.

As Dreamscape rolled out of bed, she prepared one last message to broadcast as she got her gear together

'If you receive this message, know that I'm on the road to Ponyville. I am losing hope, but I must remain strong...it's what she would want. So, if you're out there, please hear this message and join me on the road to Ponyville. There's nothing in this city but ash and shadow. Nothing but ghosts and sorrow.By the time you hear this, it may have been days, or even weeks since I left. I'll stay in Ponyville for as long as I can. This is Dreamscape signing off for the last time in Manehatten.
