Learning about ponyville

Forge wandered into the large marketplace, surprised at how busy the area was. It seemed like this was one of the busier days, as there were many stalls dotted around the area. He was intriged to see not only fresh produce from the fields, but home cooked food was displayed too.

"This is very different from Cloudsdale. We don't have farms up there." He muttered, looking round.

"well last I checked, it was almost impossible to grow things on a cloud."

Clockwork chuckled and bought herself an apple pie, smiling lightly.

"try a slice, these apples are the best i have ever tasted."

the pie was resting on her back, still fresh. she bucked it up and the pie landed right side up infront of her. she took a slice and began to eat it.

"'you can also find other stands if you look around, I sometimes set up a stand here to sell my inventions."

Gloom was walking through the marketplace, looking for something yummy, as his house was almost emptied of food. Just then, he heard a mare mention selling inventions. "Your an inventor? I have always been interested in different inventions, but I never really looked into it!" Gloom excitedly said to the mare.

Forge gratefully munched on the slice of pie, looking around at the curious stalls. This place was already more interesting than cloudsdale. "Well, I have all the tools I need right now...."

Another pony had run up excitedly to greet gears, and Forge chuckled to himself. "Looks like you're in high demand around here. Does this happen a lot?" He quieried.

"well I make ecofriendly inventions, they all run on the same principle as a clock, even my scooter, though when a gear breaks, well you know."

she chuckled lightly and looked to the other pony, smiling at him.

"well what are you looking for, i make things from Toys to transportation. just say what you need and ill write up the blueprrints."

"That's so cool! Can you make me a scooter?" Gloom exclaimed with excitement. He was eager for a response, because he wanted another way to get around that doesn't tire you out, like flying does. Because Gloom was so excited he didn't even notice Forge.

Forge shrugged, letting the two ponies chat to themselves as he went to take a look at some of the tools one of the stalls were selling. He already had a full set, but some of these seemed new.

The pegasus wandered from stall to stall, Ooing and aahing over the various items being sold. He soon lost track of time, being too distracted to notice where he was until he realised the sun was going down.

Clockwork chuckled at the Grey Peagasus and looked at her Scooter before glancing back at him.

"I don't know, I'll see if I can. Sarcasm aside, you want an
automatic one with brakes I assume. now what color would you like?"

she asked and saw forge had wandered away and sighed lightly.

"now were that Red Colt Go?"

She focused on her potential customer for now to get his order and fill in any details before looking for her Red friend.

Gloom was so excited about his new scooter, even though he didn't even know if he was getting one yet. "Whatever you recommend!" He answered. "Uhhh, how 'bout blue!" He exclaimed excitedly.
