A new Beginning

"Well your a pegasus. If you can fly high enough you can stand on clouds as well." He said laughing at her excitement. "There's a lot more you can do too. But step one id flight." He smiled.

Sol let out a small squeal of excitement and dropped to the ground. She then took a look at her wings and tried to figure out how to make them look... better.

Burn laughed as she puzzled at her wings. "They'll get better the more you use them." He promised her.

She gave Burn a quizzical look before nodding slowly. "Whats next?" She pondered.

"Well the next step would be to get into the air." He looked at her confusion. "We're going to try to stay close to the ground and move forward s bit."

"You mean..like actually moving while in the air?" She asked nervously.

Burn frown. "If you don't want to we can stop. I won't force you." He replied understanding.

Solaris gave another shake of her head, it was starting to become a habit. "No its fine! I can do this, don't worry." She said sweetly, giving Burn a smile.

"Don't over do it." He joked smiling back. He looked at a tree not far away. "Well first step is getting in the air again. The second is to lean forward a bit."

Solaris flapped her wings and lifted off the ground. Afterwards, she slowly leaned her body forward, but she didn't know if she was moving or not. "Am... am I d-doing it right? " she asked nervously.

Sol was moving alright. "Yep. Your definatly moving, just a little crooked. That's ok though. Your learning." He smiled at her. Crooked wasn't a problem unless she sped up.

She smiled back and gained some confidence. She straightened her body and kept her shoulders straight. Leaning forward less forcefully, she whispered, "How about now?" In her naturally soft voice.

"Much better!" He encouraged. "Think you can get to that tree over there?" He asked wondering how much practice she actualy needed.

Solaris started to notice how much progress she was making and gave a small squeal of delight. Determined to do more, she started moving towards the tree. Her face was scrunched up in concentration and beads of sweat formed on her forehead. With a few fast-paced flaps, Solaris made it to the tree.

Burn waited at the tree and cheered as Sol made it to him. "You did it!" He smiled. "You flew!"

Sol cheered happily. "Yay!!" She gave Burn a hug and smiled brightly. "this is amazing! Thank you sooo much Burn!" She said happily.

Burn hapily hugged back and smiled. He knew she was happy. "Your welcome very much! But maybe take a break? Don't want to ocer work your wings." He laughed.

Sol flapped her wings and winced slightly, they were a bit sore. "Ok. Let's finish up our picnic." She suggested.

Burn smiled. "Sounds great!" He lowwered himself to the ground and trotted back to the picnic with Sol. "We got side tracked didn't we?" He laughed.

Solaris sat down next to Burn and kissed him on the cheek. "Yeah we did...but it was for a cause." She said sweetly, burying her face into the crook of his neck in a nuzzle.

(Sorry for slow replies. I've been busy.)

Burn picked up his sandwich. "Yeah. It was a very good cause too." He said biting the sandwich.

(Its ok)

Solaris gave Burn a few soft kisses on his neck and smiled. "Of course..." she said, biting some hay fries.

(I was planning to remove Burning Dunk from my list of OCs. I wanted to let you know. I can't rp with him because he's too different from my personality and it just makes things hard. I'm really sorry. It's nothing personal I just don't like Burn. You understand right?)

(Yeah I understand. Maybe we can start a new rp. I might make a new OC soon. Maybe... I gotta think about it though.)
