Big Trip With Some Big News (Mistah J)

"The foal, what do you think they'll be?" Bella asked.

"A unicor, most likely. And hopefully a colt, I don't think I can handle a filly yet..." Just smiled a bit, and nuzzled Bella's neck.

"There's a slight chance they would be a pegasus like my mother was," She said with a light giggle. "And what's wrong, afraid of a little girl?"

"No, just her teenage drama." Just smiled a bit, and kissed the top of her head.

Bella laughed and gave him a weak push. "Girls aren't that bad... At least I wasn't, you can even ask my stepmom."

"Eh' maybe it's because my half-sisters were princesses. I dunno." He gently stroked her mane

"They would be your princess though. Or your little prince," She said.

"...I love you Bella..." He hugged her tight, burying his face in her mane. He'd have to go soon maybe for the last time...

"I love you too Just..." She whispered back, holding him tight and trying not to cry.

"I...I'll come back. I promise Bella, I promise I'll always come back." He lifted her chin, and gently kissed her.

Bella sniffled and returned the kiss, pulling away after a short while. "You'd better," She whispered to him.

Just slowly rose to his hooves, and put his armour back on. He strapped his sword to his side and began to walk towards the door.

Bella shifted on the bed, her eyes drifting over to the monitor that kept track of the foal's heartbeat. She sighed softly and curled up, falling asleep a short while later.

Hours later a beaten and bloody Just Heart stumbled into the door way. His armor was shredded and rent, and blood covered it's once gleaming surface. Upon his back rest a safe, but very very tired, Quick Stitch. Just weakly stumbled over to Bella's bedside.

Bella was just waking up when Just came stumbling in with a sleeping Quick on his back. "Just!" She exclaimed, bolting into a sitting position. "W-What's Quick doing with you, Sprint was by hours ago freaking out because the filly babysitting him said he vanished! Are you okay?! Is he okay?!"

"W-Wicked foalnapped him..h-helped him get his cutie mark though..." He gently placed Quick on the bed with Bella, and began taking his armour off, and leaned heavily against the bed

Bella pulled Quick close to her and nuzzled him, looking him over and letting out a sigh of relief when she saw he was alright. "Well Sprint is going to be both happy and very angry," She said, looking over to him. "You poor thing, do you need a doctor?"

Just heart gave Bella a flat look. He was covered in cuts, gashes, and bruises, and probably had a concussion of some degree. "No, I wanted to go on a picnic...."

"Hey, don't get smart with me, my doctor doesn't come unless I call her and she's probably not the sort of doctor you need," Bella said. "If you push the button on the wall it'll call a nurse though."

"I just need some time around you Bella, trust me." Just rested his head against Bella's and sighed happily.

Bella smiled and gently kissed him before looking up as there was a clatter of trays and shouts from the hall. "You may want to hide in case Sprint thinks you're Wicked..."

"Oh please, he couldn't hope to hurt me right now." Just smiled and looked up, most of the cuts and bruises had healed, and the gashes in his sides were starting to close.

"Well so I don't have to deal with you two getting into something while in my delicate state, please hide because everything is going to go to Tartarus when Sprint starts questioning how Stitch ended up here," Bella said.

"No...I'm done hiding Bella. WHatever comes, be it your brother or a dark god, we'll face it together." He leaned forward, gently kissing Bella's forehead.

"Fine, but not in here, seriously, no stress allowed, doctor's orders," Bella said, kissing his cheek.
