Atalanta pulled her cloak a little tighter around herself, fending off a shiver. It was only early autumn, so the weather was relatively mild, but the cool breeze chilled the bony little filly all the same. Wanting to get out of the wind, Atalanta peeked into an alleyway, surveying the area before deeming it safe and empty enough and trotting in. The buildings on either side of the alleyway successively blocked the wind, and she let out a sigh of relief, nestling in close to the wall and taking a moment just to warm up.
She'd only just arrived to Manehattan a few days prior, and didn't quite have the layout of it figured out yet. The city was so large and bustling that not one pony had considered a young, scrawny filly wandering around Manehattan on her own odd--or perhaps they had just not noticed her at all. Atalanta let out a sigh, resting her head on her front legs. The city was bigger than she could have ever perceived, coming from a tiny nook in Ponyville's White Tail Woods, and she had a feeling it would take her a lot longer to complete her goal than she'd initially assumed. No matter. She'd manage it, just like she managed everything else. A sound behind her jolted her out of her thoughts and she leapt to her hooves, whipping around and lowering her head defensively at the sight of a stranger pony paused some feet away from her.
"Who're you?"
