Vamponies of Manehattan (Please Pm Me to enter Thank you!)

In Manehattan, in the dark underworld of it all, there are creatures that hunt ponies down, not for fun, not for sport… but for blood, these vamponies think of others, as ether playthings, or as prey to be eaten and to be cast aside, but Most saw ponies as both, they fed to kill or to create more of their kind, and they all hide within plain sight, and what scares ponies who know they exist is the unimaginable charisma they possess, There is one safe guard form these monsters, was the sun, the one thing they couldn’t survive in, in the past few nights the death toll had risen to a couple ponies a night.

Gabrial had been investigating these deaths, for the past nights, one element had been common, they had been drained of blood, and many ponies had different takes on the suspects. One said it was a mare, another said the victim brought a stallion home for a night of fun, but again, there was nothing much more than that, but no pony was able to give accurate descriptions of the ponies in question. Gabrial walks his beat, trying to keep his ears open for any signs of another attack. Things were bad, Gabrial’s CO was trying figure it out, and trying to keep the mayor and the Captain of the Royal Guard, But Gabrial was more worried about the other Ponies, and He was going to stop these attacks or Die trying.

OzyManedias had died before. It wasn't a new experience. This was different.

Vassago had played him for a fool. He said that he would be giving him a present, then he lured him into an alleyway and pounced.

OzyManedias could feel himself dying, but he didn't. He just kept on living.

"What did you... What did you do?" He felt his neck, where beings teeth marks were.

"This is my gift. I think you will grow into it nicely." the foal smiled, he patted the back of the pony that pounced Ozy, one with strange fangs.

"Its all quite fun after you get past the whole 'drinking the blood of innocent ponies." Vassago explained.

"What is. What did you do to me?" OzyManedias started to raise his voice. Vassago was a friend, no doubt. But friendship can only do so much.

Vassago already was a being of considerable power, he did not need nor want to get that little bit more by sacrificing the little Equine left in him. But OzyManedias on the other hand.

"Well my little king, I made you immortal." The Vampony who sired OzyManedias smiled wider.

Dark Cherry steps out of a Jazz club and into the street, the swaying sound of a Alto Sax being shut off as the door closes behind her. A gust of cold wind ruffles her mane and coat causing her to shiver and begin the lonely trot back to her apartment. The nightly crowd of ponies starts to die as she moves more into the apartments and out of the interesting part of town. Her green eyes flick suspiciously around at dark alleyways and shady ponies. The last thing the midnight mare wanted was to be another night time victim of Manehattan.

It was an odd night for Brawny Hooves. How, you may ask? Well, this is the deal. Brawny is what you would call a Werepony. If it was a full moon, or you pissed him off, he would grow large amounts of fur, claws, become vicious and violent, and either bite and infect or kill and eat other ponies.

Brawny prowled the streets of Manehattan, looking for poor souls to make his meal. Or to induct into his pack, like that one crazy pony did in the Everfree Forest. He pissed off the wrong pony that day... Now almost every night he resembles something straight from somepony's nightmare. Sometimes it was fun. He could get back at the ponies who angered him. But if he got caught changing, or showed any signs, he would be in deep trouble...

Kid sighed as he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. Climbing out of his bed in the Manehatten orphanage he let out a yawn as he turned and looked out he window. A lovely evening in the neighborhood. Letting a happy smile crease his face he trotted towards a night-stand beside his bed. Grabbing a small silver chain like necklace from the stand he took it out and placed it around his neck.

Smiling to himself as his red eyes glinted in the moonlight, he looked over to where the orphanage owner slept. He silently trotted over towards where the mare slept. Smiling to himself as he leaned down over her neck. Taking a moment to find the proper vein, he promptly sunk his teeth into her flesh. Thankfully for the mare, Kid's light appetite didn't mean that she wouldn't perish, and his hygienic tendencies meant she wouldn't get infected. No, all that would happen would be a minor headache come morning. After a quick drink he smiled, wiped the blood off his mouth and left the orphanage to see what there was to do.

"Such a nice sight to see such a sweet young filly grow up to be such a nice mare..." Kid mused as he left the building; grabbing his book bag and other gear before setting out. "It feels as though it were yesterday that she herself was dropped off here....Ah, how the time passes~"

Cherry soon is the only pony on the street as she walks further along. The eerie emptiness gave her goosebumps and the hairs on her neck stood up. The feeling of watched washed over her and she stopped dead in her tracks, glancing around for any signs of the pony. Her poor night vision didn't give her much sight, but she swore she could she the silhouette of a pony standing further down the street. She turned and picked up the pace as images of the worst flash through her head/

Amina was ready.

An old Arabian Vampony, she had lived for many millennia. Often spoken of as the goddess Hathor in Egyptian myth, the mare was revered as the most intelligent vampony in existence, to evade death and capture for so long.

She was in a hunting crouch, ready to attack the closest victim. Oh, the sweet, metallic taste of blood was not so much delicious as it soothed the burning in her throat. Pony blood was more enticing than other blood, and so much easier to catch.

Around her neck was a collar, one given to her as a gift when worshippers bowed at her feet. A lapis lazuli stone lay in the center, and it was her secret. She could stand behind a window with the amulet on, without being burnt to a crisp. It was no use in direct sunlight, as her fellow "god" Amun had discovered when he tried to attack in daylight. She cringed at the memory, of having to sneak out at night and gather the ashes.

It was no matter. The foreign mare's fangs extended as she envisioned the slender neck of an unsuspecting mare...

Gabrial heard the doors shut, as walks he sees a young dark pony, whose mane seemed almost to glow in the waxing moonlight, walk into the ally way, Gabrial couldn’t help but sigh, and walk towards her, but she quickly walked into a street, that was outside his area of patrol, Gabrial bites his lip, and thinks upon this… If I let her go off, there’s a chance she will be harmed… She could be the next victim… Gabrial quickly shakes his head, and runs after the unicorn calling out to her, “Excuses… you shouldn’t be out here alone, Things have been…” Gabrial’s eyes caught on a sight of another pony, her eyes glew red, Her coat was a light pink and she seemed diffrent, as Gabrial speaks again,” Miss you should be off to your home it dangerous to be out alone…” Gabrial was locked into her eyes, something about them… was comforting, yet there was a hint of… something dark, hungry… Gabrial blinks, and speaks again,” I… ah... Miss. May I offer to escort you home?” Gabrial felt a fear but he shakes it off, as an effect of what he had seen at the crime scene earlier.

OzyManedias quaked with anger.

Was it not enough to live through two lifetimes? Now he had to live for potentially infinite more?

Vassago on the other hoof, was quite content to sit and smile.

"And now." Vassago reached behind the trashcan he sat on. "I set you free."

There was a shot. The mysterious pony that bit OzyManedias fell to the floor with a bullet in its head.

Vassago smiled and threw the derringer away.

"How do you feel."

OzyManedias' eyes were not golden. They were a deep, blood red. "I feel... hungry." His teeth started to poke his lower lip.

"Good. Lets find you something to eat." The foal got off of the can and led a dazed and slowly changing OzyManedias away from the dead pony.

The Vampony disintegrated into ash.

Cherry stopped and did a double take on the nearist sign, realizing she was lost. She bites her lip and try to remember where she had taken the wrong turn, but her uneasiness made it hard to concentrate. She looked around again, trying to find a sign or landmark to lead her home. She sits and takes a deep breath.

"It's just my nerves, I just need to get home."

Brawny was hunting through the streets of Manehattan, looking for innocent ponies to either maim or devour. He couldn't help it. It was just the beast in side of his coming out. It felt good at the time, but when he changed back... You don't wanna see what that looks like.

Brawny sniffed out a pony. He ran towards the scent and saw a rather small Unicorn. She looked terrified already. And delicious... Brawny crept up on her, getting ready to pounce. Poor mare had no idea what was going to happen that night. But Werepony Brawny doesn't care about poor mares. He just cares about his next meal.

As Kid stepped out into the cool refreshing night, his eyes being able to quickly adapt to such low-light conditions. He began to look around for something to do.

Kid's first instinct was to trot about; see if he couldn't find some ponies...o some fellow friends of the night. Kid smiled to himself as he remembers how many times a a vampony mistook him for a regular pony. Even funnier still, a majority of those were ponies Kid had transformed decades...or even centuries ago! Snickering to himself at the thought; he continued on.

As he kept going, he couldn't help but gag at the smell of the nearby pizza place. The scent of garlic and other regular foods flooded his nostrils.

"Hmph." Kid grunted as he kept going. "So these pizza places can overload Equestria with such horrid stenches and nopony says a thing. But when a vampony drinks a little bit of blood; it's on lips of everypony around in the most negative way. Unbelieveable."

"Oh," said Amina, instantly snapping into an innocent facade. "I'm lost as well, sir. Please, I don't know ze way, and I do not sbeak good Equestrian."

That was a lie. Amina had learned how to speak Equestrian perfectly well back at the turn of the century, but it was always best to lie.

"Amina Abbasi, of Saddle Arabia," she said, bowing respectfully. Her ornaments jingled as she controlled her speed and trotted over.

"I'd like to come along, if zat would be okay wiz you," she pleaded. The red of her eyes scared most ponies, but when curved in just the right way, they could be endearing. She always had an excuse for them if somepony asked, anyways.

Cherry finally made it home and slammed the door close, bolted it, then collapsed on her bed. She was tired and mentally and Physically and fell into a deep sleep.

Brawny Hooves, or I guess Brawny Paws in this sense, was ready to pounce on the mare. He was getting ready, then another scent caught him.

The smell certainly wasn't anything normal for a pony. It was another supernatural's scent. Creeping away from the defenseless mare, he went to go investigate this odd smell. Guess dinner will have to wait a few more minutes.

Brawny followed the scent, only to find a small colt. He looked like fun prey. Not much meat on him, but the screams of terror from a foal are always fun. He was going to attack, then he noticed something about this foal.

The colt gave off the presence of a Vampony. The blood reed eyes gave it away, no doubt. Vamponies aren't all that tasty. If that wasn't enough, the kid was wearing silver. If Brawny even tried to attack him, it would burn like hell. He was now frustrated, and just gave the colt a snarl and a terrifying glare. This colt must have seen some much worse things than a Werepony if he was really a Vampony. Living forever can do that...

Kid looked around when he heard the familiar snarl of a werepony. Turning to look at who it was he saw a large (to him) stallion giving him the evil eye and snarling. To most ponies this was a terrifying thing to see. To Kid; it was a trip down memory lane.

"Ah, I haven't seen one of your kind around here in ages!" Kid smiled as he looked up at the werepony. "Whatever happened to you? You all used to be so much fun!"

Kid wasn't paying attention and began rambling on for a solid 5 minutes about how much fun he had with the old local wereponies.

"Oh! Sorry!" Kid said as he snapped back to today. "I didn't mean to ramble like that; and I forgot to introduce myself. How rude of me."

Kid extended a hoof (that didn't have silver on it) to the stallion.

"My name is Kid. What is yours?"

As she was about to follow the stallion, she suddenly sensed the movement of two creatures from in the distance. She looked up and immediately narrowed her eyes.

"I'll find my own way," she said. "Have a safe journey. Ze night is full of dangerous creatures."

She trotted around a block and immediately used her enhanced speed to approach the two vamponies in the distance.

"Vassago," she said, knowing very well the young-looking stallion could hear her. "We meet again."

Vassago was another of the demonic creatures of the Manehatten streets. She had not seen the younger pony for a century, but they were barely cordial to each other. It was always best to keep the peace, but the two were wary of each other. Vassago, she had the impression, was afraid of the mare for her ability to stay in existence for more than five millennia, but she was quite aware that he was cunning, quick, and not adverse to creating and destroying her kind.

"I see you have a new companion," she said curtly, staring at the newborn, still-changing stallion. "Welcome to the real Manehatten. I assume you are on a first hunt?"

Gabrial only for a second realized he was about to lead this Arabian pony... To where… he wasn’t sure… She left rather quickly and as Gabrial was left with a wondering point, “Wait... where the…” Gabrial looks around and runs quickly back to his beat, and quickly moves to make up whatever time he lost, He then heard a loud snarl, this almost made Gabrial jump, as he quickly trots towards this sound he kept thinking “WHAT IN THE WIDE WIDE WORLD OF EQUESTRIA MADE THAT SOUND???!!!!” Gabrial runs after the sound, his heart full to the brim with fear; he then prepares his spell ready to blast what ever made that sound.

"Amina!" Vassago smiled as warmly as the arctic circle. "You're looking... well."

OzyManedias stared hungrily at Amina.

The unicorn levitated to eye level with the Vampony. "I was just trying to show my good friend here to his first meal. We were just leaving." He started to usher OzyManedias away from Amina. "He is very hungry, as I am sure you can see. The young ones these days."

OzyManedias snapped out of his dazed state long enough to interject. "But I am still older than you. Even with you-"

Vassago's annoyingly childish laugh interrupted OzyManedias as he made his newly sired friend's mouth muscles stop working. OzyManedias grabbed his jaw to keep it from gaping open due to lack of muscle control.

Brawny looked at this foal. All he did was ramble on and on about Wereponies. And his name was Kid. Then he extended his hoof to him.

In a normal case, Brawny would shake his hoof. But since his sense was gone, due to the change, he just looked at it and growled more. He wanted to attack him, but that damned silver was keeping him from doing that. He hated Kid already. Well, in Werepony form he did. If he was a normal pony, he'd probably like him.

Brawny turned around and left Kid. He wasted a good meal for that. Next time he'll think when he gets that scent. Then he picked up another one, and not the nasty smell of a Vampony. It was a Unicorn this time.

Brawny followed the scent and saw a stallion charging up a spell. He looked yummy. Brawny slowly walked towards him, growling and snarling, prepared to feast on this poor soul.

"...I should have figured..."Kid sighed as he took his extended hoof and facehooved himself with it. "Wereponies were never the most sociable of the night...t'is as it has always been."

Kid was about to just continue on his way when he saw a random stallion come out with a spell charged and aimed at the werepony....Now was the time for some fun.

"SIR! HELP ME! PLEASE!" Kid shrieked as he pretended to cower from the werepony. Kid knew this sort of thing wasn't the nicest thing to do. Yet, Kid needed some fun...not to mention; these two were obviously going to start fighting anyhow. The werepony had a hungry look in his eye; that much was obvious. Whilst the stallion didn't seem the kind to back down. It just seemed like a way to kick it up a notch. And, who knows, maybe if the stallion DID get out of this without being murdered...or transmogrified into another mangy-mutt; Kid might get a meal out of him.

"Don't just stand there! Do something!" Kid shrieked again as he ducked down to the ground and covered his head. "HELP ME!!"
