Midnight Brawl (1x1 with Delix)

Hawthorne looked at the pancakes, sniffing them. "My mother used to make these." He said, sitting down at the table.

Aster pointed a hoof at the article. "Look here.... This description, it sounds a lot like my big brother."

"My mother too, this is a family recipe" she said, smiling at him

"Hmm, maybe he is in town, you should look for him" he said

Hawthorne smiled, beginning to eat. "These are good."

Aster nodded. "Yeah, let's go."

Iron smiled widely "Thank you"

"I have a friend, she often hangs out at the tavern... we should ask her if she saw him"

Hawthorne smiled and blushed faintly.

Aster nodded. "I hope he's not hurt.."

"How are you today?" Iron asked, taking a seat

"Youre worrying way too much, sweetie" he said, laying his forelegs around her shoulders

"I'm alright, how about you?" Hawthorne asked.

Aster smiled faintly and huddled close to him.

"Im great too" she said

"Should we go now?" he asked, smiling at her

Hawthorne smiled and flicked his ears. "You're quite kind."

Aster nodded and stepped out of the house, walking towards town.

"Thank you" she said, blushing a bit

"She lives in the Marketplace, over there" Stripes said said, holding on to her hoof

Hawthorne smiled and gently nuzzled her.

Aster nodded, trotting towards the marketplace and looking around.

Iron nuzzled him back, giggling softly

"Her house is over there" Stripes said, walking towards her house and knocking on the door

Hawthorne flicked his ears, hearing a knock on the door. "You expecting visitors?" He asked.

Aster sat beside Stripes, looking at the door. "Who lives here?"

"No, I wonder who that could be" she said, walking to the door and opened it

"Its a good friend" he said as the door opened
"Hey Iron hows it going?"
"Uhm.. Hi Stripes.. I didnt expect you here"

Aster stepped into the house, looking around, her eyes went wide when she spotted the massive stallion inside. "Brother?!"

Hawthorne looked up quickly. "Baby Sister! Where have you been!?" He exclaimed, darting over to Aster and pulling her into a hug.

"Aww, how cute" Iron said

Stripes also stepped inside the house, looking at them and smiling

Hawthorne saw Stripes and narrowed his eyes, letting go of Aster and approaching the small Pegasus stallion, towering over him. "Who are you?"

Stripes gulped "I-Im her friend" he said

"Coltfriend, actually." Aster added, blushing.

Hawthorne's face went cold. "You're her coltfriend?!" He snapped, flaring out his wings. "What made you think that you're worthy for her?!"

Aster stepped in. "Brother. I love him!"

"Unacceptable... You deserve better than... This.." Hawthorne said.

"Don't be rude, brother... He may not be as strong as you'd want him to be... But he's kind and smart." Aster said. "And a good kisser..." She added softly.

"Look.. I dont wanna fight... I know you want to protect her, and I would never let her get hurt" Stripes said softly

Hawthorne sighed. "You have one chance, nothing more." He said sternly. "Don't you dare hurt her in any way."

"Ill promise" he said, standing next to Aster

Aster, for the first time in her life, was scared of her brother.

Hawthorne looked towards Iron, sighing. "Sorry you had to see that.."

"Its fine... but you dont have to be so protective about your sister. Look at her.. she's an adult, and found her true love. You should give them some time" she said, nuzzling his cheek

Hawthorne blushed slightly, sighing. "I know... But she's the only family I've got left, I don't want her to be hurt, physically or mentally."
