"That'd be okay... I guess?"

Covin nodded to the mare, and then looked back to the other pony. "Well, lead the way."

The two tributes then began to follow the new arrival, Broken Heart, as he lead them towards this oasis that he spoke of. While they were walking, Covin realized he was hungry. Thirsty too, actually. Huh. Come to think of it... He pulled out one of the ripe apples from his nearly fully destroyed bag and held it out to Leaf, slightly difficult to do as he was walking at the same time but still manageable.

"Hey, do you want one?"

Iris squinted and saw three figures appear in the distance. They seemed to be heading for the oasis. "Brawny, three ponies up ahead. Should we run or stay and fight?" she called down to Brawny.

Brawny was following Iris the entire time. First she asked him why he was so afraid of scorpions. He's gonna tell ya. But before he did, he took a quick drink from the Oasis. hot desert sun really leaves a pony thirsty

"Scorpions are terrifying. Especially when they're giant like that. They eyes, the stinger, the legs... It just creeps me out. I have crazy Arachnophobia."

Brawny looked over to where Iris was looking and saw three ponies. They didn't seem like a huge threat. They would obviously attack, but with Brawny's... well, brawn, and Iris backing him up, they shouldn't be much trouble.

"I think we can take 'em. I wanna see if they try anything first. If you wanna just kill them right away, I still have the dart gun."

Brawny pulled out his poison dart gun, loaded it, and aimed at the pony leading the way. He waited for Iris's answer before firing.

"Better safe than sorry." Iris replied, readying her knives and flying up into the palm tree. She squinted and aimed at the leading pony. As he came closer, she realized it was Broken Heart. "It's the traitor, Broken Heart. My bet is that he has recruited those two to take us out, since we are the largest threat in the arena." she said to Brawny.

Brawny listened to Iris. Looks like she was in favor of killing them. Brawny aimed his gun right at Broken Heart's chest. His heart wont only be broken, but poisoned. Well, if he hits him, of course. He took a deep breath and shot, praying that it hit his target. Or at least missed and hit one of the three ponies. He was also getting hungry

"Hey Iris, hate to keep being a mooch, but got any extra food left?"

Brawny searched his saddlebags for something. Didn't look like he had anything. He would have to scavenge the three if Iris had nothing left.

Iris nodded and tossed Brawny another pack of crackers, munching on her own. She kept her knives ready and aimed at Broken Heart and the other ponies.

Brawny shot his dart and munched on teh crackers before he went hungry. The pony games just demolish your hunger. Brawny shot two more darts at the other two ponies.

Iris glared at Broken as Brawny's dart didn't kill Broken. At least it killed one of the others. She aimed her knife and threw it with all her force, hopefully it would hit Broken.

Brawny cursed himself for missing Broken Heart. Well, at least he hit one of the other two if anything. Brawny was never good with ranged combat. He preferred up close fighting. Which is why his primary weapon was a broadsword. He decided to say Buck it, used his sword, and charged at whatever ponies survived screaming.

Iris sighed sadly as her attack didn't kill. She threw another one angrily, knowing that it would strike it, or she would be even more pissed.

((Hey Calla, are you sure these rolls are completely legit? According to what you have posted, this is what has happened: Brawny's dart flew and hit Broken Heart, wounding him while simultaneously killing another pony from our group [I have no idea how a single dart does that]. Then, before me or anyone else is able to notice the attack and respond, Iris is able to ready and throw her knife, which she aims at Broken Heart. However, rather than hitting Broken Heart, it somehow manages to wound both me and Leaf, which I once again do not understand. Most of your other rolls have seemed to be fairly realistic aside from one that I can complain about later, but these recent ones just don't add up in any way whatsoever...))

((No, one of you, not both. I'm leaving it up to you. Post an attack, I post a roll. I'll terminate the wound, you guys are fine, I'm just tired. Carry on.))

((And the dart? I'm guessing it just hits Broken and we leave it at that?))

Before Leafy could answer Covin, a dart flew through the air, wounding Broken. She looked up, and saw two ponies in a palm tree: a stallion and a mare. Before she could do anything, a knife was thrown down, hitting Covin (Aren't you glad I made you get hit?). Leafy decided that even though the two ponies wounded almost all the members in the group, at least none of them were dead, and that was something to be happy about.

Then the stallion charged at them, holding a sword.

"What the hay?" Leafy shouted, throwing ninja stars at him. She hadn't even noticed him climbing down the tree. She cursed herself for following Broken.

As Covin walked along after Broken Heart, he realized that he had been getting hungry throughout the course of the games without even noticing. Not slowing down his pace, the Earth Pony took out one of his ripe apples and ate it as the small group moved forward, throwing the core somewhere onto the sand once he had finished.

Within barely a minute of walking, the three ponies approached the oasis that the newest member of the group had spoken of. However, before they were even able to reach the outskirts, Covin heard a quiet but high-pitched whistling, and a dart appeared in Broken Heart's body. After a moment of searching, the Earth Pony was able to find the source of the dart: two tributes, a mare and a stallion that had been sitting in a tree located near the outer area of the oasis.

Covin quickly evaluated the enemy: the group was facing an Earth Pony stallion that seemed to enjoy using a broadsword, as he was drawing this weapon now, and a Pegasus mare, who seemed more content with staying up in her tree and causing damage with throwing knives. Before he could respond to the initial attack, however, a throwing knife flew through the air and went straight past his head, slashing his shoulder in the process. Ow. Pain. I dislike pain.

At this time, the enemy Earth Pony began to charge at the three tributes with his sword out and ready to draw blood. Covin took out his daggers once more and prepared himself for the assault, while Leaf took out her ninja stars and began to throw some at the attacker.
